Erik advises companies within business development, political advocacy, strategic communication, and financial solutions.
With a background from CBS as a Cand. Merc. in Strategy & Communication, as well as sales and consulting within financing for large companies, Erik has often taken as a starting point the strategic challenges of companies in order to be able to suggest the best alternatives for a company’s growth strategy.
In recent years, his consulting has focused on companies’ sales to the public sector, as well as entering into alliances and partnerships, primarily from the public affairs and PR company, Public Affairs Group, and the sister company FirstGov Communications. The close relationships with the companies have been created through consulting and task solving, including from a long-standing employment as First Vice President in EIFO, the Danish Export & Investment Fund.
Erik has previously worked as a Business Development Manager in the auditing & consulting firm Deloitte, as well as as a Senior Relationship Manager in Danish and foreign banks, such as Danske Bank, Citibank, Dresdner Bank (now Commerzbank), and DNB Bank. The sectors have been within defense and security, agriculture and food, transport and logistics, and the energy sector.
Alongside his civilian career, Erik serves as a reserve officer in the Danish Armed Forces, with regular calls up at home and abroad. Furthermore, he has an extensive network among decision-makers in the political environment and the private business community.
