Lars Bangert Struwe is one of Denmark’s most experienced advisors within security and defense policy. With a background as Secretary General of the think tank Atlantic Alliance, and previous positions in both the Ministry of Defense and the Defense Command, he combines strategic vision with practical experience from the core of decision-making.

He holds a PhD in history with a specialization in Danish defense and security policy, and has actively contributed to the security policy debate as a teacher, researcher, advisor and analyst for more than two decades. Lars is known for his ability to make complex issues understandable and relevant – and has been a regular voice in both Danish and international media.

Through his current work at Geopol Strategi, he assists actors with strategic advice, analysis and communication at the intersection of research, policy and practice. His solid network and sharp communication make him a central capacity in the work with geopolitical insight and societal security.
